Hey neighbors! Do you love to read and want to meet other Vermonters who feel the same? Join us for our April Burlington Silent Book Club meet-up on Sunday, 4/30 from 1pm-3pm at Zero Gravity!
With traditional book clubs there's always the scramble to finish the assigned book and the pressure to have something smart to say. At Silent Book Club, there's no assigned reading. Bring whatever book you're reading and come chat, have a drink, and read companionably with other book lovers!
Here's how this will go down:
-1:00-1:30 - Grab a drink, get settled, + chat with the group!
-1:30-2:30 - Quiet reading time (this is essentially a flash mob of readers)
-2:30-3:00 - Stick around to chat more. Or, keep reading. Or, feel free to head out! Choose your own adventure, this is whatever you want it to be
