Green Up Day May 6th, 2023 - Town of Reading
-Green Up bags are available at the Town Hall and the Reading Greenhouse as of this week for those of you who are anxious to get started, or may not be around on May 6th. Feel free to start cleaning up our roads any time!
-Please be sure to fill in information on the Sign Up sheet when you pick up your bags.
-Bags of Green Up trash can be brought to the Weathersfield Transfer Station.
-On Saturday, May 6th Green Up bags will also be available in front of the Town Hall, along with a free beverage and snack from 8:00-9:00 AM so that you can sign up for a particular area to clean.
-As in years past, there will be a few special coupons hidden along some of the roads which are redeemable for a prize at the Town Office.
-Finally, I have some very exciting news to share!
Also on Saturday, May 6th, 9:00 AM at the Town Hall, Green Up Vermont Executive Director, Kate Alberghini, will join us in Reading to present RES students with their prizes as they won the state-wide contest for a Green Up video they created! Stop by to congratulate them!
