Have you ever climbed down the ladder into an active nuclear submarine? Vermonters Weekend will provide you that opportunity at the Naval Submarine Base New London in Groton, CT. One hour Tours will begin at 9:00am on Saturday, May 20th, and end at 5:00pm. Sunday's schedule will be the same. Vermont residents 13 years of age and older are eligible, and the Sign-Up site has an Information Sheet that explains the restrictions and guidelines that you'll be responsible for understanding to gain access to the Naval Base.

This will be the last opportunity to experience the USS VERMONT before she moves to her new home port in Pearl Harbor after the Tours. Here's the link to sign up:
