Genealogy and Slavery Discussion Group April 27

Past event
Apr 27, 2023, 6 to 8 PM

We are a discussion group of people who are researching our ancestors' connections to slavery. If this is part of your family history, we invite you to participate with us. We meet monthly to share research experiences and to discuss the challenges of uncovering difficult, long-hidden truths. Each meeting includes a focused discussion about how this work can connect to the current struggles for racial justice. We also include a short educational section. Our next meeting is Thursday, April 27 from 6-8 pm, via Zoom. If you're interested in participating, contact doriew[at] radicalrootsgenealogy.org for more information.
