I want to be sure that everyone is aware that the Vermont primary election will be held on Tuesday, August 26, 2014.

Early voting started on July 11, so you can stop in at your Town Clerk’s office during business hours, ask for a ballot, and vote right then and there. You can also call your Town Clerk and ask for a ballot to be sent to you. Here is the 2014 election calendar:

July 11, 2014 - Absentee /Early Voting begins
August 20, 2014 - Last Day to Register to Vote in Primary
August 26, 2014 - Vermont Primary Day

September 20, 2014 - Absentee/Early Voting Begins
October 29, 2014 - Last Day to Register to Vote in General Election
November 4, 2014 - Vermont General Election Day
