The Old Labor Hall's Primo Maggio celebration returns live Sunday, April 30 with a community dinner followed by historian Andrew Hoyt's presentation "Luigi Galleani & the Anarchists of Barre." The festivities begin at 5 p.m. with a social hour & silent auction, followed at 6 by a traditional Italian dinner. Hoyt's presentation will begin at 7. Hoyt will explore the Italian anarchists' role in the larger social world of Vermont and Barre. The silent auction will feature a quilt by Marianne Kotch of Cobble Hill Quilts.
