Kick off of the series on The Culture of Food beginning Sunday, April 30 at 2PM at Pope Memorial Library. The first discussion (followed by monthly discussions) will be based on the book Taskmasters: Seven Women Who Revolutionized Food in America. Following a discussion on Sunday May 21 at 3PM based on the book The Man Who Ate Too Much with guest local chef. June 25 at 2PM will be guest author Paula Swartz re her book Today Sardines are Not for Sale: A Street Protest in Occupied Paris.
