Registration is now open for the 15th Annual Tour de Farms biking farm tour, hosted by ACORN and riding through the rolling hills of Shoreham and Orwell. This year's tour, scheduled for September 17, features two distances—a 30-mile route and a more relaxed, family-friendly 10-mile distance. You'll pass through the beautiful pastoral landscape of the Champlain Valley and visit two to eight farms depending on your distance. Each farm stop will host additional food and beverage producers so there'll be plenty of sustenance along the way. At the end of your journey, spend some time enjoying the food and vendors at Shoreham's Apple Fest. Don't forget to select a unique bike jersey featuring local artist Caitlin O'Donnell's rendering of the Champlain Valley. All proceeds benefit ACORN's local food programs.
