INUNDATION HAZARD AREA BYLAWS BOARD OF ADJUSTMENT
An advisory meeting of the Board of Adjustment (BOA) and the Administration Officer (AO) for the Village of Jeffersonville will be held on the 19th day of May, 2023, 7:00 p.m. at the Village of Jeffersonville Office Conference Room to review whether the following projects meet the criteria for permitted uses in the Special Flood Hazard Area (SFHA), per Section VI of the Inundation Hazard Area Bylaws, adopted July 6, 2011:
Three Mountain Roofing: Surfacing of existing at-grade parking for existing building (276 Main Street, Jeffersonville, VT)
Town of Cambridge Trails Committee: Cambridge Greenway Gateway "Linear Park" Development (ARPA Project to connect the Greenway Trail with the Silo Space area and create adjoining rest, exercise, and play areas in the Village of Jeffersonville, VT)
Jean Jenkauskas: Restoration of areas of existing landscaping damaged by floods and during the 2018 home elevation (15 Old Main Street, Jeffersonville, VT).
Permitted development in the SFHA that meets the development standards in Section VII of the Bylaws requires only an administrative permit issued by the Administrative Officer. Development that requires conditional use approval, non-conforming use approval, or a variance from the BOA under these flood hazard regulations must have such approvals prior to the issuance of a permit by the AO.
