Homebuyer Education workshops give you the tools you need to enter the housing market.

This workshop will cover:
• How to prepare your finances to be in a position to purchase
• Special programs that can help with closing costs and down payment
• The steps in the home buying process and timelines you can expect
• How to work with a real estate agent, a lender, a lawyer and a home inspector

The cost is $99.00 and will grant you a HomeBuyer Education Certificate* and a one-on-one counseling session to go over your individual finances and questions.

*A HomeBuyer Education certificate is required for some loans and special programs, including Champlain Housing Trust's Shared Equity homeownership program.
