Are you an adult looking for ways to give back to your community? Are you ready to share, listen, laugh, play, create, and explore? If the answer is "Yes!"...then FriendCHIPS Mentoring is the perfect opportunity for you!

More than 20 students in grades 4-8 are waiting to be matched with a caring adult mentor. To learn about becoming a mentor through Essex CHIPS, join us for the FriendCHIPS Mentoring Open House on Thursday, July 24th between 3:30-5:30 PM at Memorial Hall on 5 Towers Road in Essex Junction. Talks will be given at 4:00 and 4:30, and questions can be answered anytime. You will have the opportunity to meet other mentors and the Mentoring Coordinator. Come whenever and stay as long as you would like. Refreshments will be provided.

As a FriendCHIPS mentor you:

- Choose the time that best fits your schedule
- Meet with your mentee for one hour each week during the school day, during the
school year
- Meet on-site at Essex Junction or Essex Town schools where games and supplies are
provided
- And most of all...have fun and make a difference in the life of a child!
