Coming up Thursday on Central Vermont Community Radio: What are people doing locally to celebrate Earth Day on Saturday, and what are the options now with so much news on electric vehicles?
9:00 - 10:00 am
This Saturday, April 22, is the 54th Earth Day. The North Branch Nature Center in Montpelier is celebrating by inviting community members to join them to plant some trees where they'll do the most good on their property by the North Branch of the Winooski River. Catherine Griset will join us to talk about that and other upcoming events at the NBNC.

There's so much to keep track of in electric vehicle (EV) news these days! New federal air quality rules are on track to make EVs a majority of new cars sold in the US by 2032, and Vermont and other states following California's lead are on a faster track to have EVs gain market share. And there are many to choose from, in theory—one article I saw recently said there were 91 EV models sold in the US now. But now they're hard to come by, and they're (mostly) not cheap! What are the best EV values out there now? Should you buy an EV or lease one? Does it make sense to buy now or wait? Dave Roberts of Drive Electric Vermont will answer these questions and more.
