Celebrate Earth Day! Thursday April 20th at 3pm. Learn about owls, make an owl craft and dissect an owl pellet. About once a day, an owl spits up a ball of hair and bones--leftovers from their most recent meals--called an owl pellet. By dissecting these pellets, we can piece together what these nighttime predators
have eaten. All ages welcome!

Did you know that April is National Poetry Month? And, of course, the library has lots of poetry books.
On Thursday, April 20th at 6:00 in celebration of National Poetry Month we'll be hosting some wonderful
local poets for a reading of their poems as well as reading of other poets. Joyce Thomas will be leading a
discussion, "Why Shakespeare?". Afterwards, we'll celebrate the Bard's birthday with some cake so
please join us.
