The spring flowers are blooming, and the browns and whites of winter are disappearing. Now it's our turn to make the winter litter disappear too.

Help us make Monkton beautiful by joining your neighbors to clean up our roadsides. Volunteers may sign up for a route and get bags and gloves at Monkton's Town Hall during regular hours from now until it's over. You can also pick up supplies at Monkton's Park and Ride on Friday afternoon from 4 - 6 pm, and on Saturday from 8 am - 1 pm. Even if you have your supplies already, letting us know what route you are cleaning will help us direct other volunteers to roads that need attention. Treats and more information will also be available at the kiosk during these hours. This year, you can also pick up supplies and treats, and hear a reading of the Lorax from the Arbor Day Tree Planting crew at the Town Offices on Saturday morning.

Please bring your filled bags to the Town Garage by the end of the weekend. Our great Road Crew will take them to the Transfer Station for us.
