Lilac Cleanup Workday at UVM Hort Farm
SATURDAY, April 22, 10am-12pm LOCATION: outside at UVM's Horticulture Farm, 65 Green Mountain Dr, So. Burlington
Help the Friends of the Horticulture Farm remove invasive vines and weeds overwhelming our 100+ lilacs at the Horticulture Farm. Work beside Lilac Collection curator Kitty Werner to prepare these budding shrubs to be their best for showing at our Bloom Time Festival on May 20.
Bring your gardening gloves, loppers, pruners, hand saws and Cape Cod weeder. It's a big job but the lilacs will thank you with their awesome display in May.
