The Craft Center is offering two wonderful workshops this weekend!
At Brainstorm Art Supply:
Embroidered Patches
Saturday, April 22, 10am-1:30pm
Create fabric patches to embellish an item of clothing or an accessory you own! Design your own patches and learn how to use a needle and thread to translate your idea into fabric. No sewing experience is necessary, the basics will be covered!
Students will learn basic hand embroidery skills, students will learn how to create a patch design, students will learn how to sew patches onto fabric.
This class will be held at Brainstorm Art Supply - a collaboration between BAS & WRCC.

Eco-Art Reception & Family-Friendly Workshop
Saturday, April 22nd, 10-1pm - Free!
On Earth Day, April 22nd, from 10-1pm, the White River Craft Center will host an Opening Reception of Eco-Art for Change, featuring a family friendly workshop led by exhibition artist, Anne Cummings from 10:30am-12:30pm.
The workshop will be an introduction to Anne's work, followed by a collaborative project using recycled materials, and an introduction to ways that make an art practice more eco-friendly.
