THIS WEEK!
Twelfth Night is a rousing contemporary musical adaptation of Shakespeare's classic romantic comedy about mistaken identity and self-discovery.
Twelfth Night tells the story of Viola, a young heroine who washes up on the shores of Illyria, disguises herself as a man, is sent to court a countess and falls hard for a Duke. As she navigates this strange and wonderful new land, she finds her true self and true love in the process.
The show was conceived by Shaina Taub and Kwame-Kwe Armuh and Features an original jazz-funk score by Taub.
Our productions is directed by faculty members Laura Roald with music direction by Stefanie Weigand. The running time is 90 minutes long and is appropriate for all audiences and groups.
Laura Roald is directing this celebration of a show. The incredible Stefanie Weigand is our music director. NVU's Rose Bedard on choreography. Cavan Mease (Bread and Puppet, Meow Wolf, countless other groundbreaking shows) is our visiting artist lighting and scenic designer. Almost every single PAT major is involved in the show either on stage or show running.
With how this semester has been for all of us, now is the time to celebrate the resilience, strength, and artistry of our students.
