Sky Party! Thursday, April 20th 7:30pm at the Cabot Rec Field Pavilion - All ages welcome! Please join Bobby Farlice-Rubio, and his telescope, as we take in the majesty of the night sky. Learn the constellations! Hear the stories that they have inspired. This is the season when we bid farewell to the Great Hunter Orion, and we say hello to Virgo and Leo the Lion. Planets Venus and Mars will also be visible. There have been many recent discoveries on these other worlds, including clues to help us find the origins of life here on Earth! Please join us for this springtime sky safari! Bobby Farlice-Rubio is a long-time youth educator and passionate about astronomy. He worked at the Fairbanks Museum for years, teaching and doing planetarium shows and star parties.
