The School St Community Garden is available to anyone in the area who wants to garden.
Please join us Monday April 24th at 5pm to sign up and share idea s for the garden plan. You can also contact Glynis by text at 505 660 7449, with ideas or other times that might work better for you.
Last year the garden produced a bounty of vegetables, flowers and herbs. Perennials like the strawberries and asparagus that were donated are now thriving and producing.
The garden structure was collaborative. last year. Some people have expressed interest in having their own independent plots this year. Both options are welcomed.
I am looking for someone interested in helping manage some of the outreach and social media as I have much less time this year. Terry is stepping away from being the lead gardener, but will continue support and nurture many facets of the garden. This is an a deliciously rewarding community leadership opportunity.
