Hi neighbors, it's a rainy mud season Monday but if you're eagerly looking ahead to summer you may want to check out these two free workshops from the Green Mountain Club this week:

-Wednesday, April 19, 5:30 pm on Zoom: Hiking 101. Will cover what to wear, what to bring, conditioning, reading trail descriptions and more. Gain confidence and get ready to explore Vermont's great outdoors.

-Sunday, April 23, 10am in person at GMC Headquarters in Waterbury: backpacking 101! Ready to level it up by spending a night in the woods? This workshop will cover packing a backpack, sleep set ups, backcountry cooking, and more.

Both workshops are free with an option to donate to support GMC'S work caring for 500+ miles of hiking trails in Vermont. Please share with anyone you think might be interested!
