Harrison's Restaurant in Stowe is hosting a dinner to benefit the Clarina Howard Nichols Center on Tuesday April 18th.
There will be two seatings – 5pm and 7:30pm.
The cost is $75 per person with 50% of the proceeds donated to Clarina Howard Nichols Center. There will also be great wines from Tony O'Rourke and Iron Wolf Wines with a $5 donation to CHNC for every bottle sold.
Here is the fabulous Menu –
First Course (choose one of the following)
* House Salad - organic mixed field greens, maple balsamic vinaigrette, cucumbers, carrots, vine ripe tomatoes
* Soup of the Evening - featuring seasonal and locally sourced ingredients
* Lump Crab Cake - crispy panko encrusted crab cake, lemon creole aioli
* Fried Duck Wings - maple chipotle glazed fried duck drumettes, crudités, house blue cheese dressing
Second Course (choose one of the following)
* Parmesan Potato Gnocchi - Vermont Fresh potato gnocchi, white truffle Maitake mushroom Marsala wine cream sauce, sautéed vegetables
* Coq Au Vin - Bell and Evans chicken thigh simmered in a rich red wine demi-glace with smoked bacon, caramelized onions, and sautéed vegetables over mashed potatoes
* Tuna Poke Bowl - ahi tuna marinated with ginger, teriyaki, and chimichurri with chilled sticky rice, crispy wontons, julienne vegetables, pickled cucumbers, wasabi aioli, and sesame seeds
* Grilled New York Strip - grilled New York strip steak with a white wine shallot demi-glace, fresh tomatoes, fried onions, mashed potatoes, and sautéed vegetables
Third Course
* Choose from carrot cake, frozen mocha cheesecake, or butterscotch pudding
