Hello South Burlington!

The warmer weather has seen the last of the snow melt which has revealed the left-over scraps the winter winds have blown around and collected along our roadsides, brooks, woods, and fences. You can be part of a statewide clean-up effort by your participation in Green Up Day on May 6th. All South Burlington residents and business owners are invited to be part of this annual tradition. The details are simple: The Green Up Day Bags are in so visit the City Clerk's Office at 180 Market Street Monday-Friday between 8:00-4:30 to get your special collection bag(s). You will be asked to identify yourself or your group, how many bags you intend to fill and the location of where you hope to clean up. From there, do garbage removal on your own time ahead of or on the official collection day; May 6. On May 6 at 577 Dorset Street (the SB School District Office parking lot) between the hours of 9:00am-1:00pm, you can drop your special Green Up Day bags off for free and load them in the generously donated Casella dumpster. There will be folks on site to assist and direct you. Get your family, friends, and neighbors to join in the fun and Green Up Vermont! Questions?
