The discussion on Sue Monk Kidd's "The Invention of Wings" will take place on July 31st. Margo Marrone will lead the discussion. We will meet at the community center (the former elementary school) at 6:30 and be out the door by 8 PM. Bring a beverage if you wish, and I will supply a "sweet." Listeners welcome.
Our next book will be "Defending Jacob," by William Landay. It is a legal thriller, fast paced and full of interesting questions. It has garnered some awards. Each participant will be responsible for obtaining her own copy of the book: kindle, nook, library, cheap paperback. Let me know if you have trouble obtaining a copy. The discussion will take place mid to late Sept. since it is longer in length. Date to be determined at the gathering July 31st.
