Please join us in Montpelier this Wednesday for a FREE workshop with local lawyer Katherine O'Neill:
Starting and running your own business can be intimidating, especially when you are faced with new decisions, legal documents, or if you are entering uncharted waters.
Getting the proper legal advice up front can help you avoid problems down the road, and Katherine's passion is helping women running their own businesses get the advice they need to make informed decisions, understand their options and be able to spend time doing what they love instead of addressing legal challenges.
Katherine will talk about mistakes that small business owners often don’t know they are making. This presentation will cover issues ranging from addressing why forming an entity such as an LLC is important, why interns and contractors make her nervous, and why written contracts are important, as well as insurance.
Date: July 23rd
Time: 5:30-7:00pm
Location: North Branch Cafe in Montpelier (back room has been reserved - please purchase either tea, wine and some nibbles).
