We've partnered with Burlington City Arts to provide a free wheel throwing pottery course for youth ages 8 - 13!

Wheel throwing pottery is the process of shaping clay on the pottery wheel. Throwing usually involves a few steps from the beginning to the end of making a pot. These are centering the clay, opening it up, pulling up the walls, and collaring in the neck of the pot. During this workshop, instructors will lead you through a hands-on demo and assist your group in creating a custom piece of pottery that will be fired and glazed by their studio.
