BASIC BLUEBERRY GROWERS WORKSHOP: Held Saturday 4/29/23 promptly from 8am - Noon.
Learn the basics of growing blueberries from farmers who have been growing blueberries since 2006. We've learned so much over the years and know how to help others! :-) This course includes outdoor / indoor instructions, hands on exercises and study notes / documentation to refer to often. We will discuss soil types, water requirements, zone & plant varietal selection, pollination, how to plant and the first 2 years of care and fertility management.

ADVANCED BLUEBERRY GROWERS WORKSHOP: Held Saturday 4/29/23 promptly from 1:00pm - 5pm.
In this workshop, we teach you how to identify portions of the plant, (age of the canes), and teach you how to correctly PRUNE your plants so they will be even more fruitful! Also included in this workshop is identifying plant diseases, insects and how to manage them in your planting. trouble-shoot and keep your plants healthy. This course includes outdoor / indoor instructions, hands on exercises and study notes / documentation to refer to often.

COSTS --- $110.00 per workshop (4 hours each). Register for both workshops and receive $5.00 refund ($10.00 total) upon completion of the workshops. This course includes outdoor / indoor instructions, hands on exercises and study notes. Please dress prepared and bring work gloves as this workshop is held rain or shine.
