Literacy-based creative learning adventures for young children offered through Stone Valley Arts, Poultney. We enjoy high-quality, engaging children's stories, then bring them to life through the arts--visual art, music, creative movement, and dramatic play--as well as activities in science, cooking, gardening, history, social & emotional learning, and more.

4/14 Sometimes I Feel Like a Mouse—Puppets will help us explore and find language for our feelings.
4/21 Mud!—Mud season means mud play!
4/28 The Big Orange Splot—Mr. Plumbean inspires all of his neighbors—and us!—to create our own dream houses.
Please note the the April 14th class will take place at Green Mountain Community School in Withey Hall. On April 21st we will return to the Stone Valley Arts building, 145 E. Main St., Poultney.

Rosemary Moser has been educating young children in settings such as infant, toddler, & preschool programs, afterschool programs, summer camps, arts centers, and summer school programs since 1984. For twelve years she was a Start With the Arts visiting artist/instructor with VSA-Vermont (now Inclusive Arts Vermont), during which time she discovered her passion for offering learning experiences of all kinds linked to great children's literature. She has been a homeschool parent, a volunteer for Prevent Child Abuse-Vermont, a Vermont Extension Master Gardener and Master Composter, enjoys cooking, gardening, performing in plays, and lives in Middletown Springs, VT with her husband, dog, and a flock of chickens & ducks.
