Saint John's Hand-Illuminated Bible Event April 18 – 5:30pm/7pm – Good Shepherd Church in Jericho
In 1998, Saint John's Abbey and University in Minnesota commissioned renowned calligrapher Donald Jackson to produce a hand-written, hand-illuminated Bible. Excerpts of this Bible will be coming to Good Shepherd Lutheran Church in Jericho on April 18. You will not want to miss the opportunity to see this beautiful work of art!
The Vermont Ecumenical Council and Thrivent will partner to bring you a guided presentation on this special Bible. Learn about the processes, tools, methods and materials that went into making this amazing piece of artwork.
The presentation will be preceded by a free meal at 5:30pm, and speaker Tim Ternes will begin his presentation at 7pm.
