The Turning Point Center of Chittenden County is hosting "Community Connections: Speaker & Open House" on Thursday, April 20th, from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. This is a free event, open to the public, featuring tours of the facility, delicious nibbles provided by local food businesses, and a presentation by people working on the front lines of the opioid epidemic. Dr. Daniel Wolfson will discuss his experience in caring for patients with opioid use disorder in the Emergency Department of the UVM Medical Center, and the impacts of fentanyl and xylazine in our community. Space is limited so reservations via the website are required. To RSVP, visit: https://turningpointcentervt.org/events/community-connections-speaker-open-house/
