Hello all!
I am posting on behalf of the Vermont Sierra Club inviting anyone interested to a Sierra Club event happening on Sunday, April 23rd at the Otter Creek Gorge Trail in Weybridge. The event is open to all members of the public and is being hosted by a group of UVM environmental students for a capstone course. The details are as follows!
Hi Friends,
We are excited to invite you to a Trail Talk event at Otter Creek Gorge Trail in Weybridge on April 23rd from 11 am to approximately 2 pm. This hike and discussion will allow you to connect with other Vermonters, discuss forest history and the future of clean energy, and celebrate Earth Day weekend! We will gather at the southern trailhead at Belden Falls, make our way across the suspension bridge above the falls, and then head into the woods for a 2.6-mile easy/moderate hike. Shoes with good traction are highly suggested! Along the way, we will stop to discuss the history of the forest, clean energy, and how the two intersect. At the end of the hike, lunch will be provided by the Sierra Club. We hope you will join us in celebrating our natural areas and the history that surrounds us!
