Jay Town Hall Defib - John Engler will be at Town Hall, Tues, Aug 27 approx 11:45 am (right after bone bldg) to show people what to do in an emergency. Feel free to attend, especially if you attend meetings in the town hall or visit the town hall often, or just want to know what to do and what the AED is all about.

Thoroughbred Races – Sat., Sept 28, 2013 - fundraiser for JVFD, Jay Community Recreational Centre, Jay Area Food Shelf
Need to know who can work night of event, set up for event, advertising - we need to spread the word, sponsors, prizes
At JFG meeting - You can buy a horse $25 if wins you win $50 or do advance betting ( $20 gets you 1 bet per race)
Volunteers needed to set up and sell above at JVI or on own, dates to be determined.

Columbus Weekend Coin Drop - Oct 12/13 - 2 workers needed for Jay Focus Group each day for 1 - 2.5 hr shift, other shifts by JVFD, Land Trust, other

Troy Lions Club Texas Hold’em for Jay Comm Ctr - Sat., Oct 19, 2013 - Volunteers to work event approx 8:30 am to 2pm

Children’s Halloween Party at Jay Peak Ice Haus Date TBA - do we pay for every J/W child this year???

Tree Lighting and Caroling at Town Hall - set date, also need volunteers and date to take off old lights and redo on tree, coordinate with Adam Fortier, Mike'Electric & Bill DiCarlo.
