The Brandon Museum, in partnership with the Castleton University Archeology Department, presents an Artifact Roadshow on April 27, 2023, 6pm to 8pm at the Brandon Town Hall. If you have objects that date to the early history of the Brandon area, bring them to the Artifact Roadshow! While there will not be financial appraisals, archaeologists Matthew and Ellen Moriarty and their students will identify your findings and determine their age and function. No artifacts? Come anyway to see this unique event displaying items dug from lawns and pulled from attics around Brandon. Information from the roadshow will become part of a local project documenting the history of Castleton and surrounding areas.
