The official blurb (below) doesn't fully capture the creativity and energy of this virtuosic group of musicians. On Saturday evening I'm going to eat a nice meal, dress up in something snazzy (clean jeans at least), and turn out for an evening of classy and inspiring instrumental music. I personally hope they play their amazing rendition of Come Together (by, yes, the Beatles). It takes some really interesting turns without ever losing sight of the classic original song.

Check it out! Yep, just one violinist, but Jason Anick uses double stops in a way that makes him sound like 1st and 2nd fiddle at the same time. Dang!
Now the blurb:
Rhythm Future Quartet has a straightforward agenda: to keep the spirit of Jazz Manouche alive and expanding in today's musical universe. The virtuosic foursome, named for a Django Reinhardt tune, offers up a newly minted sound, influenced by the classic Hot Club of France, yet wholly contemporary.
Founded by violinist Jason Anick, the quartet performs dynamic and lyrical arrangements of both Jazz Menouche standards and original compositions that draw upon diverse international rhythms and musical idioms. With Max O'Rourke, Henry Acker, and Greg Loughman rounding out the quartet, Rhythm Future is dedicated to expanding the boundaries of a vital musical genre.
