Through a brutal civil war on the island of Bougainville, the loss of family, and the destruction of her village, Matilda's pursuit of peace and a meaningful life is inspiring. Please be advised that this film contains two violent scenes depicting war crimes.

We will be screening films, followed by a hybrid discussion (in the meeting room and over Zoom) beginning at 8:00 pm.
