Hi Neighbors,

The Ward 1 NPA will be a little different next week. Based on the conversation last month, we will be brainstorming to gather ideas and feedback about possible neighborhood projects that we could work on together. Our hope is to tangibly improve the ward in some way, build community, and have fun!

We are thinking that we could try a shorter-term project over the summer to start, and also consider some longer term projects that may take a bit more time and planning. No ideas are off the table, so we encourage you to use your imaginations!

Not only that, but Sam Ayotte will be preparing Chili and Cornbread!! So come to the Friends Meeting House if you can, but we welcome Zoomers as well to the brainstorming.

Announcements: share events, meetings, activities of interest to Ward 1 community.
7:10 - Speakout - this is an opportunity to raise concerns and appreciations about Ward 1 (or just share what's on your mind)
7:30 - City Council updates - Zoraya Hightower and Tim Doherty
7:50 - School Commission update - Gary Golden and Aquilas Lokossou
8:00 - Brainstorming discussion about potential neighborhood projects and possible sources of funding. The goal is for the NPA to determine short-term projects we can work on as a community over the summer and long-term project possibilities to plan.
