TAX DAY CUT THE PENTAGON
We will meet to say no to war, no to risking nuclear war with nuclear armed countries, and YES to transferring some of the military budget (approaching one trillion dollars this year) to things we ARE responsible for such as reducing carbon emissions, mitigating climate change, and real affordable housing for the many unhoused and destitute families in Vermont. One F35 jet fighter, now being sent with crews to Europe to fight Russia, costs between 100 and 150 million dollars. One plane! We ask you to say loudly--we just want to live! We want a livable planet!
