Public Meeting for Designing Safe Travel on Rt. 2

Past event
Apr 10, 2023, 7 to 9 PM

The planning project currently underway to design a safe and comfortable active transportation connection along Route 2 from the Village Center to Route 117 (River Road) continues with a public meeting next week. The goal of this project is to design a path that is safe and easy to use for all ages and abilities, whether biking, walking, using a wheelchair, using a scooter, skateboarding, etc.
On April 10 at 7:00 PM, the project team is hosting a community meeting to discuss path options along Route 2 and Route 117. That meeting will be held at the Richmond Town Center meeting room and via zoom. Here is the link for that Zoom meeting.

In response to public input at that meeting, the public survey, and targeted neighborhood focus groups, a second public meeting will take place in early summer when the consultants will present alternatives for path options.
