Dear Neighbors!

I wanted to highlight a cool opportunity for you to pass on to youth you may know in your community. The Vermont Youth Lobby is holding their 7thannual Rally for the Planet next Friday, April 14th at the Vermont Statehouse!

Young folks will be meeting with legislators, hearing from experts, and learning more about Climate Change through speakers and student-facilitated discussions. The Rally is a great opportunity for students to enter into youth activism or connect with their legislators as well as to demand immediate, impactful action on climate change.

Here's the agenda:

8:30-10: Arrive, pre-rally at Montpelier High School (with music from Sunbug!)

10-10:15: March to State House

10:30-11:00 Speeches at the State House from youth and adults

11:00-1 Music, food trucks, activities, climate justice organizations tabling, meetings with legislators

1:30-2 Departure
