Sheng Jian Bao 生煎包 is a type of small, pan-fried baozi (steamed buns) that is a specialty of Shanghai. It is typically filled with pork and gelatin that melts into soup/liquid when cooked. We will be making Sheng Jian Bao and enjoy the meal together after making them. Rice porridge 粥 and pickled mustard 榨菜 will be served.
Takeout buns are available at 10 for $10. Please pre-order your buns. You are welcome to dine with the cooking group.
