Chris Bessette "I am a possibilist. I see a direction or new purpose in most things, and like to use the familiar medium of textiles to learn a new technique or explore both my limits and that of the items with which I am working."
I have been learning to sew and create for 50 years. I phrase it that way that because I believe that creativity is a habit of cultivating curiosity, and I want that to be a habit of a lifetime.

Wendy Everhart "I have worked in clay throughout my life, and enjoy both throwing on the wheel and hand building techniques. My work leans towards functional pieces, but I find great joy in making nonfunctional Raku pieces. Having recently established my own small studio, I am exploring new glaze combinations and techniques which lend another avenue of exploration to this art form. "

Wendy is one of April's featured artists at the Artist In Residence Gallery in St. Albans, Vermont.

Courtney Adams "I have a passion for finding the beauty in wood and create art in the form of coasters, cutting boards and home decor. I work with many varieties of wood including maple, birch, walnut, cherry, purple heart, wenge, yellow heart, padauk and zebra wood."

Courtney is one of April's featured artists at the Artist In Residence Gallery in St. Albans, Vermont.

Anne Standish's roots are in sewing and quilting, and art quilts are her avocation. She has devoted much of her creative energy to finding new ways to make representational images of real places with fabric, photographs printed onto fabric, thread and paint. In her latest work, she focuses on detailed improvisational threadwork, creating dense color and texture as well as a story line.

Anne is one of April's featured artists at the Artist In Residence Gallery in St. Albans, Vermont.
