OLLI lecture this week is given by Mark Breen, weather forecaster from Fairbanks Museum and Planetarium. Mark will be talking about the nature of weather patterns. He will share information on where the weather gets its energy, and how this creates certain patterns and events that will deliver sunshine or monsoons. He'll guide you through the information and misinformation, and weave together the tapestry of weather patterns. There will always be weather, but Mark's lecture will help us weave the strands of weather information. Lecture fee is $8 dollars payable in advance by calling 802-656-5817 or by using learn.uvm.edu/olli/lamoille and paying by credit card. Lecture begins at 1 PM SHARP
