Sunday, April 2nd marks the start of Holy Week in the Christian Church. Holy week begins with Palm Sunday and ends on Holy Saturday in anticipation of Easter Sunday (4/9). The people of Charlotte Congregational Church invite you to join us for a special Palm Sunday service of worship this Sunday, 4/2 at 10am, either in-person of via livestream. See below for details:
- Service will begin with the distribution of palms and reading of the Palm Sunday story.
- It will continue with a brief meditation by Pastor Kevin titled, "Falling to Pieces" and a dramatic reading of the passion story by San Harrington, Pete Harrington, Len Hirschberger and Rev. Susan Cooke Kittredge.
- It will end with a congregational singing of "Were You There?" while the cross is shrouded by a confirmand and her confirmation partner. We will leave in silence.
- We will celebrate Holy Communion.
- We will not host fellowship time after the service.
- Jane Kittredge (violin), Ben Lively (guitar and violin), Carl Recchia and the CCC Choir will lead our music.
