Household Hazardous Waste Day (#1)

Mountain Alliance is holding the first of its 2023 household hazardous waste days on Saturday, April 8th, from 8:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. at the transfer station in Randolph (73 Landfill Road, Randolph). The event is for the residents of Mountain Alliance communities (Randolph, Brookfield, Braintree, Roxbury, and Northfield) ONLY.

Materials Accepted at the Events: Acids, Adhesives, Aerosols, Antifreeze, Brake Fluid, Cements, Charcoal Lighters, Chlorine, Cleaning Fluid, Degreasers, Disinfectants, Drain Cleaners, Dry Gas, Epoxies, Dyes, Fiberglass Resins, Flea Powders, Furniture Strippers, Hair Removers, Herbicides, Insect Repellents, Lacquers, Lubricants, Mothballs or Flakes, Nail Polish Removers, Oven Cleaners, Oil-Based Paints, Paint Removers, Paint Thinners, Permanent Solutions, Pesticides, Photo Chemicals, Rat Poisons, Rug and Upholstery Cleaners, Rust Solvents, Wood Preservatives, Spot Removers, Toilet Bowl Cleaners, Tub and Tile Cleaners, Turpentine, Varnish, Weed Killers, Wood Polishes, Wood Stains, Fluorescent Light Tubes Mercury-containing Products.

Materials NOT Accepted at the Event: Asbestos, Automotive and Marine Batteries, Tires, Used Oil, Explosives or Shock-Sensitive Materials, Ammunition, Radioactive Wastes, Pathological Wastes, Infectious Waste, Medicines, Dioxins, Compressed Gas Cylinders, Electronic Equipment, Televisions, Computers.
