While Lady Robyn of Locksley is away fighting in the Crusades, her lands are taken by the greedy Prince John. Rather than continuing to be part of the oppression that rules England, she forms a band of rebels to help those in need. Will the Sheriff of Nottingham catch them and execute the crown's version of justice, and what price must be paid in order for Robyn to save her friends?

This story is told in a full length production. VYD delights audiences with their unexpected blend of exciting hip-hop and compelling lyrical choreography, with song choices that "tell" the story. Dancers bring characters to life through movement and acting, with imaginative staging, beautiful costumes, and brilliant set pieces and lighting.

Vermont Youth Dancers is a local dance company founded in 2006, by Jericho resident Mia Groff, and co-directed by Theresa Robinson. VYD's cast of 40 includes dozens of local talented dancers, ages 8 – 18, from Jericho, Underhill, Essex, and South Burlington. This nonprofit organization focuses on offering performance opportunities and leadership development to local dancers while also giving back to other local nonprofit agencies. This show's partial proceeds to Wood 4 Good and Aunt Dot's Place food shelf.
