When I saw the news from Tennessee, I returned to my grief ritual that has become all too regular now.
When I'm at a loss, I ask, what's mine to do?
The response; hold space for the mothers.
For our Anger, Fear + Grief.
That's what I'm offering tonight; a community council gathering for mothers.
A place to listen and speak from the heart.
A safe space to be present with our emotions so we can continue showing up for our children by modeling the emotional intelligence we need as a society to move beyond these acts of violence.
