Hello Artists and Nature lovers!
Spring Fever is here and while you anticipate being outdoors, there's no better way to enjoy those warm sunny days than to learn how to paint from direct observation. This class will explore the basic elements of painting outdoors, or "en plein air" and will take the fear out of a portable studio. The Kingdom offers many choice locations from which to paint and to enjoy this magnificent scenery while capturing your impressions on canvas.
This class is designed for beginner to intermediate art enthusiasts of all ages over 16. You will complete a painting in less than 2 hours while you learn color mixing, composition, and most of all, how to enjoy the outdoors and create art from life.
The afternoon between 1 and 4 is an ongoing open studio session for anyone who wishes to paint with the camaraderie of other artists of various levels. No instruction is provided but critique is available for the asking. Bring photos of your own backyard for help with composition and starting you painting.
