Hello Grand Isle Community,

We hope you've found our Island Arts special announcement in this week's Islander that Gina Lewis and Caroline Korejko, librarians for Alburgh and North Hero, will be the judges for our new Youth Crot Poetry Contest! They look forward to reading what comes from the hearts and minds of our talented youth.

Grand Isle County Youth, there's still time to get your poem entries in by March 31st. Crot poetry combines poem fragments with visual art such as collage, drawings or paintings.

There are prizes!
