For some time now I have been thinking of restarting the series "Planet Huntington " at the Huntington Public Library. Those new in town might not know about "Planet Huntington ", a show put on by neighbors that highlights their travels and adventures. Covid and the moving of co-hosts, Rebecca and Terry Ryan have put the shows into hiatus but I would like to try and bring it back to life. With your help.

The final push to start was my meeting with a young volunteer at the library. Aiana is an exchange student studying at Mount Mansfield High School, living with her host family here in Huntington. How often do you get to meet a native of Krygyzstan ( I had to look up how to spell that, wrong!) who is willing to show and discuss scenes from her home country. A rare opportunity that I could not pass up.
