W-F mornings (10am-Noon) dedicated to creating "Barn Quilts" continues this week, July 16-18. Kids of all ages, grown-ups, visitors all welcome! Come at 9am to GMC farm's red barn (GMC library parking lot) to join Jason Janson--our Poultney Community Arts Organizer-in-Residence for the summer--to add your ideas & details to this 6-week-long project. Jason will be based at the college's Cerridwen Farm, but partnering with the Poultney Historical Society, and any other organization/school that wants to join in on the collaborative creation with kids, adults, any partners, of 10+ piece Poultney Barn Quilt trail project of 4' X 4' (and smaller sizes) of wood board decorative paintings that end up mounted and displayed across business and buildings in Poultney by summers end. FREE.
