This workshop is designed to foster creative expression through writing. Aspects of craft will be introduced and practiced. Through prompts and examples, participants will explore writing as a process to discover and learn while having fun. Each workshop will provide a chance to reflect and compose narratives based on experiences and/or imagination. The workshops are based on the Amherst Writers and Artists (AWA) method and will be facilitated by teaching artist, Polly Giantonio, a certified AWA facilitator and poet.
When: 8 workshops on Fridays beginning April 14, 2023 - June 2, 2023 from 10-11:30 a.m.
Where: Chelsea Senior Center, 13 North Common Street, Chelsea, Vermont.
Who: Anyone with an interest in writing is welcomed - all levels of experience.
Size limited to 12.
